🎬 Break My Fall

Written and directed by Kiki Sugino, Break My Fall (2011) is an intimate, raw, and atmospheric indie drama set in the gritty heart of East London.

The story follows Liza (Kat Redford) and Sally (Katia Pecharroman), a young lesbian couple living together in an apartment with their two close friends, Oscar and Vinque. Over the course of three turbulent days and nights, the tight-knit group navigates the messy intersections of youth, rock 'n' roll culture, substance use, and emotional intimacy. As Liza and Sally's romantic bond is tested by unspoken anxieties, financial stress, and identity crises, the four friends struggle to hold on to one another before their fragile world unravels.
