👑 REVIEW: Break My Fall (2011)

My Take:
Set in East London, the film follows three days in the life of Sally and Liz. It’s a raw, unfiltered look at the cusp of adulthood, where punk-rock dreams meet the harsh reality of "what's next?" It’s a story of love, music, and the terrifying fear of growing up.

What's Captivating: The grit. This is anti-glamour. The characters feel real, their struggles feel lived-in, and the London setting is a character in its own right. The indie soundtrack is fantastic, perfectly capturing the mood of the local underground scene.

A Word of Caution: It’s slow and somewhat nihilistic. It captures a mood rather than delivering a fast-paced plot. It’s gray, damp, and honest—just like London.

Verdict: 6.8/10 🎸🍻🇬🇧
Gritty, honest, and filled with punk melancholy. A must for fans of realistic indie cinema.
