The film centers on Casey (Eva Victor), a fiercely cynical, chaotic, and emotionally stalled millennial lesbian living in Brooklyn. She spends her days dodging adult responsibilities and hiding behind performative social media apologies. Her precarious status quo completely shatters when her long-term, deeply grounded girlfriend, Sam (Naomi Ackie), delivers a sudden ultimatum: it is time to either commit to a shared, mature future or end the relationship immediately.
