🎬High School

Based on the critically acclaimed bestselling memoir by Grammy-nominated indie pop duo Tegan and Sara Quin, High School follows the parallel and intersecting experiences of twin sisters Tegan and Sara as they navigate the confusing, hormonal, and emotionally turbulent landscape of growing up in 1990s suburban Calgary. Set against a backdrop of grunge music, skater culture, and shifting family dynamics, the series explores the sisters finding their individual identities through music. As they experiment with songwriting and sneak out to underground local concerts, both Tegan and Sara begin independently exploring their queer sexuality, navigating first sapphic heartbreaks, secret crushes, and the intense bond of twinhood while trying to figure out who they are.
