Alice (Kristanna Loken), a ghostwriter for a bestselling author, suffers from writer's block and severe memory loss following a traumatic car accident in Malta. Seeking recovery, her husband Max (Antonio Cupo) convinces her to return to their secluded villa on the Maltese coast in hopes of reigniting her creativity.

At the villa, Alice meets Sara (Sarai Givaty), a seductive house help hired by Max. A passionate relationship quickly sparks between Alice and Sara, reinvigorating Alice's spirits. However, the newfound tranquility unravels as hidden motives, romantic betrayals, and dark secrets surrounding the true nature of Alice's past accident come to light.
