Set in the city of Lille, the film revolves around Micha (Félix Moati) and Charlotte (Sophie Verbeeck), a young couple who have recently purchased a house together but find their relationship slipping into a quiet, emotionally distant routine. The dynamic shifts dramatically with the presence of their mutual best friend, a sharp and radiant defense lawyer named Mélodie (Anaïs Demoustier).

First, Charlotte initiates a secret, passionate affair with Mélodie. Shortly after, feeling neglected and completely unaware of his partner's secret life, Micha also falls for Mélodie and begins a secret relationship of his own with her.

Mélodie suddenly finds herself at the high-wire center of a double life. However, rather than playing it as a cynical farce or a toxic betrayal, the film handles her dilemma with immense warmth—she genuinely and deeply falls in love with both partners at the same time. Bonnell gracefully balances the brisk timing of a classic bedroom comedy with raw emotional sincerity, exploring how keeping secrets can paradoxically lead a couple to redefine their boundaries of love and intimacy.
