๐Ÿ‘‘ REVIEW: Brides to Be (2016)

My Take:
Jenna and Robin head to a secluded country house to prep for their upcoming wedding. But the romantic getaway quickly sours as Jenna is plagued by dark visions and the house itself seems to manifest her deepest anxieties about commitment. Itโ€™s a metaphorical horror story where the "ghosts" are actually the fears we bring into a relationship.

What's Captivating: The atmosphere. It feels like a fever dreamโ€”muted colors, slow pacing, and a growing sense of dread. Itโ€™s a unique take on pre-wedding jitters, turning them into a literal haunting.

A Word of Caution: Indie limitations. The budget is low, and the plot is more about vibes and psychology than jump scares. The ending might be a bit too "art-house" for some.

Verdict: 6.0/10 ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿš๏ธ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ
An intimate, dark portrait of love meeting the supernatural. Great for those who like their romances with a side of gloom.
